Appointment Deposit Policy

Due to a significant increase in No Show/No Call appointments, we will be initiating a non-refundable deposit to schedule appointments.

 

Southwood Veterinary Clinic is here to support our owners in caring for their pets.  An appointment reserves our staff’s time to care for your pet.  Veterinary care is in high demand, and when a client does not come in for their scheduled appointment, it is taking care time away from another patient.

 

Appointment is a No Show/No Call if:

*Client fails to appear for their scheduled appointment.

* We receive less than a half days’ notice of cancellation

* Client appears for surgery appointment after 10:00 am, or more than 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment.

 

Deposit Policy for Surgeries and No Show/No Call Appointments

Most surgery appointments will require a $100 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the invoice at check-out.  If the client is a No Show/No Call the deposit will NOT be refunded. 

 

If a client is a No Show/No Call for an office appointment, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to make all future office appointments.  The deposit will be applied to the appointment at check-out. If the client is No Show/No Call for the appointment, the deposit will NOT be refunded.

If it is necessary for Southwood Veterinary Clinic to cancel or reschedule an appointment with a deposit, the deposit will be transferred to a re-scheduled appointment or refunded.

If a client calls in a timely manner to cancel or reschedule an appointment with a deposit, the deposit will be transferred to a re-scheduled appointment or refunded.
