AVAILABILITY & APPOINTMENTS

If you think your pet needs dental care, please contact Southwood to make an appointment.  Dental cleanings are scheduled Monday – Friday mornings.  Dogs and cats are monitored and placed under general anesthesia for the procedure.  We offer pre-anesthetic blood chemistries before the cleaning, and your veterinarian may recommend antibiotics or pain medication for your pet’s health and comfort depending on findings during the procedure*.  We can call or text you with any abnormal findings before the procedure is started.  Pets can usually go home the same day.

*Laboratory test such as blood chemistries, and medications available at an additional charge.
